Adult Community Service Division working harder but making it fun!!!

A Meaningful Day is a NM State required activity provided to the adults participating in our day programs. These activities are required to be in an integrated community. Center Supervisors schedule the daily trips into the community monthly.

They are great fun but may be too exhaustive for many of our participants five days a week. LifeROOTS wanted to offer our participants an option so that if they are too tired to travel a few days of the week, they can still be involved in an integrated activity.

The garden at Menaul is a place where community volunteers can come and provide a program for our Menaul Center, Career Discovery and Literacy participants. Our goal is to have a different program every day. If you know a civic, student, volunteer or church group that would like to have an opportunity to provide a fun activity for 1.5 hours please contact Mary Bevoni at MaryBevoni@LifeROOTSNM.org.
