The Albuquerque Journal Names LifeROOTS a 2018 Top Workplace in NM

LifeROOTS is proud to announce that our organization has been named by the Albuquerque Journal as one of New Mexico’s Top Workplaces of 2018. We are thrilled to be one of only 50 companies making this year’s list, which will be published in a special section of the Albuquerque Journal. We want to thank everyone for their contributions and we hope to continue making strides until we are the undisputed number 1. We are fairly sure implementing filecenterdms across the company will help us to do that and also make our employees lives a little bit easier!

This prestigious award and important honor is based solely on employee feedback, gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, connection, even being able to offer a good office desk can make all the difference (as a tip if you would like to make your employees happy, you should check out office furniture online to see what you could get to help)! We are so proud of this achievement as we have worked hard to create a working environment that suits all the needs of our employees. We know the kind of startling statistics that other companies contribute to when it comes to employee welfare, some even having to work with a workmans comp lawyer to put things right, and we were desperate not to put anyone that works for us in the same position.

We couldn’t be more excited and proud of this recognition, as it represents how our employees view our organization and the culture that we strive to create here as together we all continue to work towards our mission of “enhancing the lives” and “shaping the futures” of those we serve.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“This award is particularly meaningful to us because it stems from our employees, and we are so honored to be included on this year’s prestigious list of Top Workplaces,” said Kathleen Holmes Cates, LifeROOTS CEO. “We truly strive to create a family friendly culture and environment here at LifeROOTS that we believe is so important in working together to serve our clients. We are so touched that the feedback from our employees showed how much they value the workplace we have created, resulting in this important honor for us.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey added. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”

We agree that it’s a big deal – and we thank all of our employees, volunteers, supporters, friends, LifeROOTS members and their families for the role they play in helping us to provide the programs and services that continue to enhance the lives of all those we serve … and for making LifeROOTS a “Top Workplace” this year …. and every single day.
