A Donation to LifeROOTS is the Gift that Keeps on Giving

By supporting our early intervention programs, career coaching sessions, and adult enrichment services, you’re providing the skills and services needed to improve someone’s life for years to come. Now imagine the impact from doubling that donation, but without any extra cost to you.

Many Albuquerque and Rio Rancho employers offer Gift Matching Programs to their employees, where your contribution will be matched dollar for dollar. In fact, over 18 million individuals for companies that offer grant matches. More employers than ever are looking for ways to connect with their communities, which includes giving back.

Because of local Donation Matching Programs, LifeROOTS is able to offer more Early Childhood Intervention services, family support services, literacy initiatives, and job-development programs to the members of our community who need it most.

We call this a win-win-win: you make in impact in your community, we can continue supporting people with physical, behavioral, developmental disabilities, and our clients’ lives are changed for the better.

Before giving to LifeROOTS, ask your employer if they are able to match your donation. Some employers will offer three or four times the requested amount, while others may be unable to match gifts beyond a predetermined limit. However, these limits are often in the thousands, and we suggest trying to reach them to optimize your positive impact. Set up a Facebook Fundraiser, or ask friends to support the cause.

Donating from your desktop isn’t the only way to support LifeROOTS. Stay up to date with our annual events like Pi(e) Day Event, Golf Tournament and Derby Fundraiser to get an up-close look at who we are and what we do by following us on Facebook.

Every small contribution adds up to big things for the people we help. For more information on Gift Matching Programs or how to donate, call us at (505) 255 – 5501 or email KathleenC@LifeROOTSNM.org or SherriW@LifeROOTSNM.org.
